Inside or Out, Diners Enjoy World Class Views

MAIN DINING ROOM - Imagine the elegant supper clubs of the 1920's and you will have some idea of the atmosphere of our stately main dining room. Envision an entire facade of small-paned windows framing an unparalleled view of the State House, sleek Louis Icart prints reminiscent of Jazz Age salon society, etched glass partitions, and an antique Egyptian Victorian back bar cabinet
towering over a marble service bar. An authentic hammered tin ceiling graced with unusual zodiac globe chandeliers from the "Normandie", said to be the most beautiful cruise ship ever built, and a color print of the ship purchased on board during a trans-Atlantic crossing blend to create an atmosphere of sleek elegance in which to relax and experience the many pleasures our menu offers.

SIDEWALK CAFE - Our seasonal sidewalk cafe is open for lunch, Sunday brunch and dinner, weather permitting, from April through October. You'll see why al fresco dining is so popular in Europe as you enjoy the beautiful view of the State House and its manicured grounds, gardens and specimen trees as you enjoy a leisurely meal.

STATE CIRCLE GRILL ROOM - Just down our heated brick side alley is the newest addition to Harry Browne's, the Grill Room. Formerly the site of our original outdoor cafe and bar for many years, this is an intimate dining area seating just 32 guests. A flagstone floor, exposed brick walls with archways featuring a collection of the work of noted area photographer Mr. Marion Warren, and exposed ceiling structure blend old and contemporary styles into a very comfortable atmosphere where you can watch your meal being prepared in our separate grill kitchen. The Grill Room offers its own dinner menu and is currently open for dinner Wed.-Thurs. 5:30-10:00 and Fri.-Sat. 5:30-11. This is a great room for private parties either separately or in conjunction with the Wine Cellar Club. Our catering office will be delighted to coordinate the details to make a memorable event.

=======================================================

WINE CELLAR CLUB  Accessed by a spiral staircase leading beneath the Grill Room, the Wine Cellar Club is a very unique private setting for members to enjoy with their special guests or business associates before or after dinner. Members have use of private wine storage lockers with their own key, and a setting reminiscent of an ancient castle cellar adds a sense of elegance to the experience. Members may also hold private wine tastings and private dinners for up to 12 guests in the wine cellar. The public is invited to attend occasional "Grill 'n' Grape" nights featuring informative wine tastings by guest wineries, combined with a Grill Room menu prepared especially to pair the selected wines with an array of culinary delights. A limited number of Wine Cellar Club memberships are still available, and members may purchase wines from us for their private storage lockers at just 10% over our cost. A Wine Cellar Club Membership is also a unique gift idea, and the Wine Cellar Club may be reserved through our catering office either separately or in conjunction with the Grill Room for intimate gatherings.

With the construction of the new grill room in the area we once called the cafe, Harry Browne's will be adding a unique addition to it's construction plans. The Wine Cellar under the grill room will be the home of 100 personal lockers.

The lockers will sell for four hundred per years and owners of the lockers will be able to store twelve bottles of their favorite wines in the lockers and access them to use at any time when
dining at Harry Browne's.

The wine must be purchased from Harry Browne's and will be available for 10% over our cost. Orders may be made weekly to keep you at capacity. The second feature of the wine cellar is its private dining area which will have the ability to seat six. The table will be tucked away in a cozy spot in the cellar. Only those wine members will be able to reserve this table for dinner. The lockers will carry the name of the owner or company name you wish to have on the vault and only the locker owners will have the key to their personal collection.

We will arrange to have wineries do private tastings in the cellar room monthly with special purchase options on limited edition wines.

We hope that this new addition will make dining at Harry Browne's a truly unique experience and that wine lovers will take advantage of this offering.

If you would like more information on membership into the cellar club call us at (410)263-4332.

The lounge is now open at noon weekdays offering lunch from noon until 3. Happy Hours are from 4-7 weeknights with snacks and drink specials. Monday nights we offer our gourmet pizza or other light fare from 8-11 in the lounge, and you may order from our regular appetizer and dinner menu in the lounge as well.
